Style correction consists of the thorough revision of the syntax and the grammar of the text. Therefore, the main objective of this type of correction is to come as close as possible to the communicative goals of the text.

This kind of correction came up with the invention of the printing press. It is an irreplaceable human task because, even if computers nowadays have programs that correct the spelling, no machine is able to control the style and the meaning-adjustment of a text.

Each text has its own goals and, depending on its fulfillment, some specific needs. As authors, sometimes we do not get the text to say exactly what we want it to say. Our work consists of, apart from cleaning grammatical mistakes, understanding the purpose of each piece of writing and suggesting the authors the changes that would turn it into a better one.
